Electric Hydrogen Igniters for Nuclear Power Plant Containment is used for the safety purpose when the hydrogen concentration in the nuclear power plant containment is unnormally increased. By using this tool, the hydrogen can be burnt via a controlled manner.
When the hydrogen generated in the containment is still within the safe range in case of a serious accident in the nuclear power plant, the active hydrogen ignition shall be carried out to make the hydrogen burn slowly, so as to reduce the total amount of hydrogen in the containment and keep the hydrogen concentration below the flammable limit, so as to avoid more serious hydrogen explosion accidents.
The product consists of ignition coil, k-scale thermocouple and terminal assembly.
The ignition coil is made of high temperature resistant nickel base alloy sheathed mineral insulated cable.
The conductor material is nickel chromium alloy.
The sheathing material includes 310 stainless steel, Inconel 600 or 825 alloy and other materials.
